This agreement outlines the terms between artists and MixGrid for theme creation and revenue sharing. Please review all terms before submitting your application.
The artist grants MixGrid a non-exclusive license to use the provided stems within the MixGrid platform for the purpose of creating interactive audio-visual experiences.
The artist retains full ownership of their music — MixGrid does not own the stems or the underlying composition.
Revenue split: 50% to artist, calculated monthly based on theme-attributable revenue. This includes theme purchases, Pro subscription attribution, and Artist tier subscriptions.
Minimum payout threshold: $25. Amounts below the threshold roll over to the next month until the minimum is reached.
Payouts are processed monthly via Stripe Connect. Artists must complete Stripe onboarding to receive payments.
The artist agrees to promote the theme to their audience at least once on social media within the first week of launch.
Either party can terminate with 30 days written notice. On termination, the theme goes offline, but already-downloaded videos remain valid under existing licenses.
The artist approves the final theme before it goes live — MixGrid will not publish without explicit written approval.
MixGrid may use the artist's name, likeness, and social handles for the purpose of promoting the theme within the MixGrid platform.
